Romney Can Still Overcome Obama’s Dishonest, Divisive Campaign

“Such careless remarks have made it easy for the Obama campaign to get away with a program that pits “the millionaires and billionaires” against the people. It is a dishonest, divisive campaign. It’s discouraging of enterprise. It does the opposite of uniting the country to deal with the current economic crisis. The argument on taxes is not just about whether the super-rich should pay more, a reasonable position which I support in a country where income and equality disparities have become more glaring than they already were. It is about whether individuals, households, and small businesses should now be seen to cross the threshold into a plutocracy when earnings reach $250,000 a year—which buys much less in metropolitan areas than in the heartland. It is outrageous to infer that aspiring to reach such a level is somehow un-American, and the Obama campaign surely must know that. Shame on them if they don’t!”

10.000 vs 660…

Vice President Joe Biden spoke before a crowd of 660 people in Durham, N.C., at the Durham Armory during a campaign stop for President Barack Obama on Monday.

Biden’s appearance before a comparatively meager crowd came a day after the newly formed Republican ticket — presidential candidate Mitt Romney and running mate Paul Ryan — rallied a crowd of over 10,000 in High Point, N.C., about an hour away, and a crowd of approximately 4,700 people in Mooresville, N.C., about two-and-a-half hours away.

New York Times: ‘No Evidence’…!

There is no evidence that Mitt Romney exercised his powers at private equity firm Bain Capital after 1999 or directed funds’ investments after leaving, The New York Timesreported.

Although some documents place the Republican presidential hopeful in charge of Bain from 1999 to 2001, a period in which the company outsourced jobs and ran companies that fell into bankruptcy, it is not related to who was running Bain at the time, the Times reported.

I am not a fan of Mitt Romney, in fact I am a democrat, have been since JFK, although the candidate is more important to me than any outdated manifesto whose adherence to and promotion of is based on greed, that goes for both parties.
One thing that has not changed since the assassination of JFK is my undying belief in America and our democratic system where truth and honor would in most cases prevail, where a man was innocent until proven guilty, not hung out to dry based on lies, hearsay, doctored reports or rumors. At one time being a journalist was a noble profession, not so anymore. All major news media is owned by only 6 corporations, you can connect the dots. I just Goggled ‘ obama birth certificate’ it received about 36,600.000 results.yet not a word was on any major news site. The treatment regarding Romney is and continues to be disgraceful I remember when America was America and journalism was journalism

Obama’s ‘Magical Misery Bus Tour

Here a flip, there a flop, everywhere a flip flop…

BC News’ Emily Friedman (@EmilyABC) reports:

A new web video and harsh criticism emerged from the Mitt Romney camp today as President Barack Obama launched his three-day bus tour that will make stops in Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois.

Dubbing the president’s trip the “Magical Misery bus tour,” Romney said in a statement that “it is unlikely President Obama will speak with unemployed Americans, to near-bankrupt business owners, or to families struggling to survive in this economy.”

“He is more interested in campaigning in swing states than working to solve the economic crisis that is crushing the middle class,” said Romney. “Turning this economy around will require real leadership and the experience of someone who has actually worked in the private sector.”
